Gather 'round, folks! It's time to celebrate the flavors of the South, the twang of bluegrass, and the joy of giving back. BBQ for Books with a Side of Bluegrass is back, and we're inviting you to join us for an evening of good food, great music, and even better company.

Mark your calendars for Friday, October 4, 2024, and head on down to Nana Mac Meadows, nestled at the foot of Pilot Mountain in Pinnacle, NC. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., so come early to snag a good spot and soak in the atmosphere. From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., indulge in mouthwatering barbecue cooked up by the talented Dennis Ruff. Wash it down with your beverage of choice from our beer and wine bar, open until 8:00 p.m.

Your ticket includes the meal and entertainment, excluding alcohol, so you can focus on enjoying the evening. Peruse our live auction, filled with exciting finds, and don't forget to check out our silent auction for more treasures. Plus, there will be games and activities to keep the fun going all night long. Best of all, your support goes directly to early literacy and other early childhood programs in Stokes County, benefiting 2,500 young minds. From Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to Reach Out and Read, your donation helps make a difference in our community. Thanks to past BBQ for Books events, we've made strides like installing a Book Walk exhibit at King Central Park and setting up a Little Free Library in our office parking lot. With your help, we can continue to expand these initiatives and spread the love of reading. So, come on out and join us for an evening of food, music, and giving back.
